Louise Burn

Louise has held a number of senior roles in both provider and commissioner settings before becoming Deputy Director of Nursing at City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust in 2013. Her clinical background is in critical care nursing and cardiology. In her current role as Deputy Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, Louise provides professional leadership for nurses, midwives and AHPs – with particular responsibility for the South Tyneside sites and community services. Louise’s portfolio includes advanced practice, delivering the dementia and end of life care strategies as well as being corporate lead for mental health and learning disability services.
Louise is the Senior Responsible Clinician for ATB Programme three and the lead for frailty and development of a Neighbourhood Operating Model across Sunderland.
Dr Tracey Lucas
SRC for Programme four (Intermediate and urgent care)
Dr Lucas moved to the North East after graduating from Glasgow in 1999 to pursue a career in paediatric medicine. She qualified as a GP in in 2005 and now works as a partner and GP trainer in a teaching practice in Washington. She acted as the clinical lead for Sunderland’s 111 service before being elected to the CCG governing body and executive committee in 2014.
